About Gorman Wilson Design Ltd.
Grant Gorman and Matthew Wilson grew up in Ottawa and are now raising their young families here. They both earned diplomas in cabinetmaking in 1999, and have been designing and building custom cabinetry for clients in the Ottawa Valley for 15 years.

Our Services
Design
An essential part of any project is the initial time spent developing a design that reflects the ideas and needs of each particular client.
At Gorman Wilson, we collaborate with our clients to blend our experience and ideas with their vision of the final product to achieve a design that is perfect for them.
Build
Once the design process has been completed, we hand-build each project ourselves at our facility in Ottawa’s west end.
We specialize in matching wood grains, and are able to hand-select woods and veneers for colour and pattern to achieve the best possible results. Many projects also include the use of unique woods and specialty veneers.
We choose to use only the highest-quality materials and hardware. By combining these with our meticulous building techniques and workmanship, we achieve beautiful results.
